I'm so proud! I've talked my brother into creating his own blog,and he has! he's traveled the world recruiting international students for our mid size community college out here in the cornfield, and he's always got a less "us against them" attitude toward the world (which is v refreshing in our scary times.)

not much new today...busy, and am excited to be getting out of town for the weekend. am taking the train to chicago to see 2 best friends from college (lucky me! I usually don't see them both in the same trip) for a weekend of visiting and much wine drinking. if anyone out there sees this and is feeling generous, please pray i have an uneventful, restful train trip...i always fear the train will hit a cow and derail, leaving me stranded someplace like lovely downtown Gilman....
