Ten Years Ago: I was graduating from small midwestern college (SMC), sick of school and ready to 'go to work'. how friggin stupid was I?
Five Years Ago: I was working at small midwestern community college (SMCC). I loved my job at the time, but I was desparately broke and more than a wee bit psychotic. (i'm much better now, thanks)
One Year Ago: like my job; love being an aunt; debating whether or not to go back to school. the end of the grant seemed like a long way away. now it feels like this this time next year i'll be unemployed. i think i'll quit thinking about that now.
Five Snacks: only 5? popcorn & m&m's mixed; cheddar sun chips; natures valley sweet n salty bars (peanut or almond), tootsie roll pops, trail mix.
Five Songs I know the words to: I don't like this question so I'm going to make my own. I listen to music all the time, so coming up with just 5 songs feels impossible. so instead, I give you the last 5 CD's played in my car:

Five Things I would do with $100 Million: I'd make sure my parents were set then dole out some to the Brother and SIL, and Curly Sue. i'd gather the rest, hire Neener to invest it (because she's honest and a true fiscally conservative republican so i know she wouldnt do anything goofy with it) and then i'd just take it easy. i'd probably go to school a lot and take lots of vacations.
Five places to run away to: the farm, the mountains (though i havent been in a few years), Chicago, Kansas City(MO, not KS), and always to Charleston to see Curly Sue (and Hairbear, my friend who does my hair. hey, getting my hair done makes me happy!)
Five Things I would never wear: cap sleeve tshirts; low rider jeans; a belt; a shirt i would have to tuck in; any item extolling the virtues of "W".
Five Favourite shows: Daily Show, Family Guy, Arrested Development, Rescue Me, Intervention (on A&E)
Five Biggest Joys: my family (especially the short, curly headed one), my friends, snow days or cancelled classes (or cancelled meetings), my fuzzy wuzzy little dog, and just being upright, breathing, and functioning.
Five Favourite Toys: my iPod, my car, 'my' laptop (work technically owns it), my LG cell phone, my itty bitty book light. *edited to add: how could i forget my sonicare toothbrush? i even travel with it!
Who to tag next? Since Needlefingers tagged me, I cant think of anyone I know well enough who blogs that i could tag. so, because she loves this crap, I pick SIL! i expect an email, sister!
