attended a graduation party at Neeners sister and BIL's house. anyway, the sis and husband are very fun...they're fairly conservative, churchgoing folk, which i know doesn't sound like much fun on paper. however, these people know how to host a party. whenever all the regular guests have gone, the truely fun partygoers sit around drinking, talking, laughing (and not smoking, unless the husband fires up a cigar, which he usually smokes by the wide open patio door and not at my face). if i am not a diligent monitor of my own beverage consumption, these people get me drunk. and all out of sheer politeness! if i tell them i dont' want a refill, they fire back with "oh, do you want something else? we've got...." then they start listing booze. i like that they're nice, normal folk with four, count 'em, four very nice, polite, respectful, hysterically funny kids, and not creepy old alcoholics. i like to drink with people when i don't have to worry about them getting in a knife fight or burning me with their smokes (again with the cigs).
watched most of the first three seasons of Sex and the City while dogsitting for my furry, four legged niece. you know, i used to love that show, but somewhere in the midst of season three, it really started to annoy me. i think its the whole carrie-big-aiden triangle. what an ahole she is (yes, i am aware she's just a character in a show) i might watch the rest of season three tonight, and i might not. so there.
re the dog sitting, i'm watching maggie (said 'niece') and my own football sized beast this week. the brother and wife are in mexico. i'm staying at their house, watching their dog and eating their food. tonight i may get a pay per view movie. bwahahahahaha!
