A blog is often a mixture of what is happening in a person's life and what is happening on the Web, a kind of hybrid diary/guide site, although there are as many unique types of blogs as there are people.
People maintained blogs long before the term was coined, but the trend gained momentum with the introduction of automated published systems, most notably Blogger at blogger.com. Thousands of people use services such as Blogger to simplify and accelerate the publishing process.
Blogs are alternatively called web logs or weblogs. However, "blog" seems less likely to cause confusion, as "web log" can also mean a server's log files.
Nothing much new going on today. trying to get all my stuff together for trip to st louis tomorrow. thanks to Em for the lovely concise directions to the Adams Mark! I dont get to see her while i'm there, as she's off to sunny Florida to watch the Cardinals spring training. She's a much better baseball fan than i.
I'm plotting out who i'm going to visit and when for the next two monthes, so if you want to book quality time you'd better email me fast! march is full, and april is going fast...being popular is such a strain, but i think i handle the pressure well (stop laughing)
