A Lovely Surprise!
Kristi (aka Needlefingers) had the day off and came to visit over lunch today! We had tasty treats at Ophelia's Cup, then ran to Hallmark to smell candles and card shop. We griped about how we have to work for a living, and then wondered when the hell someone is going to pay us to sit around and knit all day. That sounds so much more lovely than workin for 'tha Man'. However, the Man does send a lovely paycheck my way, and I really am a big fan of the insurance. Thanks Man!
Want to know how many WW points are in a 1/2 lb of gummi bears? 16! Wanna know how I know this? Because I bought and consumed 1/2 lb of gummi bears! I'm the WW posterchild. Kristi swears that since she ate some too it doesn't count as a full 1/2 lb, but since she was daintily eating one at a time while i was pawing around in my giant handbag digging out fistfuls of gummis and shoveling them into my face while shopping in Hallmark, I'm pretty sure the lions share of the gummis went to me.
I have class tonight. I wish I could just sit and listen and doze tonight, but I'll bet we have to break into groups and practice our counselizin'. Sometimes by the time 7pm rolls around and I've been at work all day and in the car for an hour, I just don't have much empathy left.
