and now, for the Funny Thing I Saw Yesterday. as i was leaving for work, i noticed a ford escape headed toward me...with a plastic trash can lodged under the front bumper. this clueless woman was driving with a trashcan stuck under the front of her truck! bwahhahahahahahaha! it reminded me of the time my friend sheila was driving, and we drove over some peice of cardboard, which got trapped on something in the cars underbelly and was scrapping the pavement as we drove. i do believe i laughed so hard i had tears rolling down my face.
btw, heres an interesting little peice about my fave supreme court justice Antonin Scalia (note the sarcasm). he doesnt think theres anything wrong with him going dunk hunting with his buddy dick (as in cheney, our intrepid VP) while also ruling on a case that has something to do with....dick. hmm. no, no conflict there. (wow) here, read for yourself if you like
ok, enough ranting. going to andrew and kerry's wedding this weekend, which promises to be fun. am going to see my mattoon peeps, and i always enjoy that. of course, i have nothing to wear to the wedding yet, so true to my nature i will be shopping for a frock saturday morning.
btw, for those of you who know tyra, she's got great news. she and dr brandon got engaged this past week, so i think they'll be getting married this fall. they're both adorable and very happy together, so we're all really excited about the wedding. I'm very happy for her!
