"mah culuhs ah blush an' bashful"

anyone else remember what movie that quote is from? I spelled it like that because it must be spoken with a heavy, fake hollywood-manufactured southern accent. real southern accents=pretty. non southern accents being made to sound southern=*shudder*

I wanted to change the blog template from pink to...well, you see what i selected. Pinker. I almost went green, but I just couldnt commit.

Is it evil and wrong to not send out a Christmas card/letter? I just cant get up the energy to do it. I have such lovely friends who send the best letters, prettiest cards, or cards with adorable babies on them, and I can't manage return the favor. I do have a box of Hello Kitty Xmas cards I got 2 years ago after Xmas for 75% off. Maybe this year...maybe.Heres a picture of Curly Sue all bundled up and riding in her little saucer last week. Mom thinks she looks like Ralphie's brother Randy from the movie A Christmas Story because she's so bundled she can't put her arms down.

I did cards this year, but didn't put my heart into it. Kinda empty. So, I say if you wanna do it, go for it. If you don't, it's ok, no one will take away your rights to Christmas presents.

I'm so behind this year that I think it'll be Happy New Year cards from me again.

I did our cards this year. Recommend sealing them before you leave them in the car for 3 days getting them to the post office. Cold envelopes require more licking to warm and reconstitute the glue. YUCK!

Ah, that quote is from the mother of all chick flicks (if you're around 30ish years old, anyway), Steel Magnolias.
