You know what I need? More yarn.
Apparently I needed lots more yarn, because I lost my ever lovin' mind at the JoAnn's moving sale yesterday. (for complete coverage of yesterday, hop on over to Ragged Around the Edges blog. Her link is in the sidebar and she summed up the day nicely.) Most of the above yarn came from JoAnn's, all except the pretty Bazic wool in Carnation and Barn Red (front row, far right), which came from Four Ladies. The rest of it is...well, from the 4 Bazic clockwise we have 1 good ol Sugar and Cream for some dishcloths (stop laughing. I need to learn some new skills and dishclothes are an easy way to practice), 4 ModaDea Cartwheels in Neopolitan, 2 Lion Brand Landscapes in Spring Desert (so pretty I wish I'd bought a couple more), 1 Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick (huh huh) in Fisherman (WTF kind of color name is Fisherman?!) 2 giant skiens of JoAnn's Rainbow Boucle in kind of a raspberry color. I love that stuff...I made a fluffy blankie out of the lighter pink color once, and it knitted up fast and I had a ton of boucle left over. Next we have 2 more Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick (heeheehee!) in sky blue. Ok, that makes more damn sense than fisherman. In front of that is 3 little balls of another JoAnn yarn called Life, which is a bulky yarn with a festive shimmer. (their words, not mine.) Finally, in the center we have 5 skiens of good ol' worsted weight Wool Ease in cranberry. I have no earthly idea what I'm going to do with it all, but I love it. I had a little buyers remorse when I saw the total, but it was all 40% off. Whats a girl to do? I also got a couple of books. At Starbucks I got a tasty peppermint mocha, and a pretty, sparkly red travel mug which Needlefingers talked me into by pointing out that it would match my car. We should not all be allowed to shop together. As Ragged so aptly put it, "We will not talk you down from (whatever) purchase." We are a dangerous group, encouraging each other to shop. We had such a fun day.
Today I took back half of what I got at Wally Tuesday. I also started on the black felted bag with the pink ribbon yarn thru the top of it. I will post some progress pictures later.

I think your buyers remorse was acually yarn overdose. It's like a drug....Next time you will be able to purchase more yarn with less guilt.....Needles has tested this theory and it is sound. Ya just hafta build up a tolerance.;)
I have bad news: I was at Starbucks and the mugs were marked down 30 percent. I called foul, but no one would listen.
No regrets. That's the rule.
What a haul! Little Jennifer's gonna be busy. 40% off should totally counteract any remorse you may have. "You deserve it...treat yourself!" Where's Amy Sedaris when you really need her?
Someone got me a gift card from "Tenbucks". Is the peppermint mocha pretty good?
Pilot: Yarn overdose. I like that! Maybe thats what my mystery headache on the way home was.
Ragged: You're right. No looking back! Actually, since they're on sale now I'd still love to have that little travel mug. precious!
Kim: The peppermint mocha will eat up about 5 bucks if you get the large one. (when the girl asked me what size, i said 'big'. i hate all that venti, whatever bullshit. we're not in Europe. its just 'large', damnit!)
